They're back in hilarious fashion. This time they hold together a movie on their own. It's a fun flick that didn't really make adult me feel out of place in the theater. The laughs are certainly there. I enjoyed the 1960s setting more than anything. Sandra Bullock provided a nice voice for Scarlet Overkill. Villains in the Despicable Me universe aren't that super threatening, especially when Minions get in the way, but Scarlet would keep doing her thing. Which Minion was my favorite? I have give the honors to Kevin. :)
Minions is likely to be another one of Universal's box office wonders. Universal is on fire in the box office this year. Furious 7 and Jurassic World have already made over a billion each worldwide. There's a chance Minions could be Universal's third billion dollar film this year. This movie will be a Blu-ray release day purchase for me. I'm not sure if I'll get the 3D version, but it's still a possibility. Highly recommended to see in theaters though!
