The Steelbook for 10 Cloverfield Lane available exclusively at Best Buy took a little warming up. I'm not sure what I was expecting for cover art a while back, but implementing the AMC IMAX posters for the Steelbook turned out to be a very neat idea. It looks amazing in person, and really gives off a Hitchcock-like vibe for this thriller flick.
My local Best Buy had only a handful of copies on the floor. Some had spine slashes, but I managed to pick a nice copy out of the bunch. The matte finish looks very nice and clean. I'm glad this Steelbook isn't glossy now that I have it here. Included with 10 Cloverfield lane is a Digital HD copy of Cloverfield. That's a great extra since I'm quite sure digital copies never were included in Cloverfield Blu-ray releases. One notable special feature is the commentary by director Dan Trachtenberg and producer JJ Abrams.
