Love Live! Just so happened to be our first Cosplay Gathering shoot of the day. We had a couple of friends and fellow cosplayers who planned to go to this gathering, so it was not out of place for us to just be there.
Now I have seen this anime before. I adored all of the unique cosplays that most everyone had put together. You can really tell how much effort some people put in to their craft, and, as a fellow cosplayer, I was one to appreciate the craftsmanship. Justin, however, was very confused to what the actual point of the anime was, and it was rather funny to watch him try to grasp the basis of it.
It was no surprise that there would be a big turnout. The only downfall was that the Overwatch Cosplay Gathering happening at the same time. Both were really popular gatherings, so it's a good thing that Nerd Gazette has two members now!
Here's a little info on what goes on in Love Live! :) It's an anime about a young girl who wants to be a so-called "school idol" and wants to form a school idol club at her middle school. Like all anime titles that appeal to girls, this starts out with a group of three girls and eventually the club flourishes into 9 members who all want to be school idols and save their school from being shut down. This anime has stemmed movies, trading cards and even apps for the iPhone and Android devices.
