East Bay Comic Con 2017 | Preview

The 4th annual East Bay Comic Con will be happening February 12th. EBCC remains in Concord, California, but has relocated to a new venue. It will be at the Crowne Plaza, which is a few blocks away from the old location (Hilton). I've been fortunate enough to be at every EBCC, and I really have nothing but good things to say about this event. The event lives up to it's comic con name by actually focusing on comics and relative content. Dee Wallace (ET, The Howling), John Stanley (Creature Features), and Arthur Adams (award-winning artist) are just a few of the special guests that will be at the event.

EBCC is a great event to be at early on in the year. It can be a fun day throughout by shopping in the dealer room and checking out some panels. This event, I think, pulls in great attendance each year, so don't fooled by the hotel venue setting. Many cosplayers can be found here, especially those that come from the bay area. The east bay rarely has large scale comic events, making EBCC quite unique in that sense.

Admission is only $6 if tickets are bought in advance. The price will be $8 at the door. It's well worth the price, so be sure to check out this event if it fits your schedule. EBCC runs from 10am to 5pm. A good amount of our convention friends be attending this EBCC for the first time, so we're super excited to see some familiar faces next month. Check out our previous EBCC coverage in the links below if you care to see what this event is like. Hope to see y'all there. Enjoy! :)
