Star Wars: The Force Awakens Steelbook

It wasn't a long wait. The few months turned into weeks, and those weeks eventually turned into a few days. Today is the day! It was easy picking at Best Buy in finding a decent condition Steelbook for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The inventory is well-stocked for the year. At least that's what I think.

I love the debossed cover for the STAR WARS text. Kylo Ren on the front. Captain Phasma on the back. There's a First Order-ish vibe on the exterior of this Steelbook. However, the beautiful shot of the Millennium Falcon dodging TIE Fighters is hands down the winning artwork on this release. 

Also standing out is the disc art. Feature film Blu-ray has the same artwork as the interior Steelbook. Bonus Blu-ray disc features an iconic photograph of the cast script reading. DVD has Rey and BB-8 together on Jakku. I love this release in terms of all the artwork used. Hopefully this remains the same for future Disney / Star Wars releases, even keeping Best Buy as the exclusive retailer.
