It's official! Beauty and the Beast will get a 25th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray. This will also be the second title in the Walt Disney Signature Collection series. It's nice to see Beauty and the Beast released again with Blu-ray being a more common format this time around. Including Digital HD is also be a nice feature since the Blu-ray 3D version was the only way to get a digital copy with Diamond Edition. No list of special features can be found right now, but I'm almost sure extras from the previous release will make the cut.
The cover art is really nice. It has the same style as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Signature Edition. One exclusive I am hoping for is a lenticular slipcover. I'm sure more news and updates on Beauty and the Beast's Blu-ray release will come out in the coming weeks. Check out my preview video for more on this amazing upcoming Disney Blu-ray release.
