The Yuri!!! On Ice gathering was on Friday, and it harnessed a big turnout. Cosplayers dressed as many different characters from the series including Yuri, Victor, Yurio, Phichit, and Kenjirou. From skater outfits to their normal everyday wear, cosplayers expressed their creativity and ability to show off their take on the characters. We haven't finished watching the complete season of Yuri on Ice, but seeing all of the cosplays definitely makes us want to watch the episodes faster. Who knows, you might see a Yuri and Yurio cosplay coming from us soon ;)

A little bit on Yuri!!! On Ice
Figure skating has always been a popular event at every Winter Olympics, so it was only a matter of time for an anime to be based on it. Yuri!!! On Ice is a new anime that is about a young man named Yuri Katsuki. He carried all of Japan's hopes on his shoulders to win at the Gran Prix Finale ice skating competition, but suffered a crushing defeat. He returns home to Kyushu while undecided on whether to retire or continue ice skating. The series also explores Yuri's relationship with Victor Nikiforov and Yuri Plisetsky while training for an upcoming Gran Prix series.– C–
